Position Overview:
The Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for operating multiple head machines, creating a variety of logos and decorative designs on customized headwear products. This job takes place in a distribution center environment. Prior experience is required and we offer flexible hours. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Tends semiautomatic sewing machine with multiple-sewing heads to embroider names, letters, or decorative designs/logos on fronts, backs, middles, peaks, and other panels Reads work order to determine type and location of embroidery, as well as thread colors and color sequence needed Counts parts, checks for cloth defects, checks for proper taping and cover stitches, and separates parts by sizes Performing regular thread and needles changes as necessary Retrieves applicable embroidery file noted on work order and loads it into embroidery machine.
