Schedule:

Full Time Shift :

Full time;Rotating schedule, two days on, two days off (Monday-Thursday8am-8pm), split Fridays (usually 8am-2pm or 2pm-8pm), alternateweekends (required to work every other weekend, hours are 8am-5pmon Saturdays and Sundays), and some holidays

Location:

East Orlando(Lake Nona, University, Waterford Lakes, Azalea Park, Conway) Therole you’ll contribute: Reporting to the Practice Manager and underthe supervision of the Providers, the Basic X-Ray Machine Operatorcares for patients and performs a wide variety of patient careactivities, including laboratory testing and radiographic exams.

Adheres to state, federal and organizational guidelines to ensurequality care and patient safety with support from the ClinicalExcellence team. Is essential in maintaining organization andfacilitating patient flow. Actively participates in outstandingcustomer service and accepts responsibility in maintainingrelationships that are equally respectful to all. The value you’llbring to the team:

• Drives customer service initiatives by creating and owning thepatient experience
• Performs basic radiological examinations,including all quality controls/clerical duties. Processes referencelaboratory specimens to include venipuncture, specimen handling/labeling, and tracking results.
• Performs properly and legiblydocuments and reports all procedures and assessments in accordancewith department policy.
• Utilizing age-specific guidelines,assesses patient during clinical check-in, documents pertinentmedical information and vital signs. Assesses for signs of abuse orneglect.
• Completes general orders and any follow-up assessmentsordered by the provider, verifying as needed. Respondsappropriately in clinical emergencies and triage situations.
• Performs diagnostic and occupational medicine testing to include,but not limited to, EKG, spirometry, audiometry, titmus and pulseoximetry. Completes forensic testing collections in accordance withDepartment of Transportation (DOT) and Florida Drug Free WorkplaceGuidelines. This may include urine drug screens, blood/breathalcohol testing, oral fluids and hair testing.
• Appropriatelycomplete check-out duties and relays instructions/care to thepatient or Performs required Quality Control checklist to ensuresafety of the patient The expertise and experiences you’ll need tosucceed: Minimum qualifications:
• High School Diploma orequivalent
• CPR Certification
• Current Florida State license
• Basic X-Ray Machine Operator (BMO)
• Continued maintenance BATCertification after hire
• Continued maintenance of Drug ScreenCertification after hire Preferred qualifications:
• Previous BasicX-Ray Machine Operator experience
