The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of programming, blueprint reading, and various machining techniques. The CNC Operator will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure high-quality production standards are met. Duties Operate CNC machines including milling machines, plasma cutting equipment, and press brake machines. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and machining processes. Program CNC machinery for specific tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in production. Utilize hand tools and calipers for precise measurements during the manufacturing process. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations. Experience Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with electrical discharge machining is a plus. Strong skills in blueprint reading and interpretation are essential. Experience operating cranes for material handling is advantageous. Proficiency in using various hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers. Knowledge of programming CNC machines is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
