Machine Operator, Cores (Days & Nights) Position Available In Pinellas, Florida

Job Description:

Adecco is seeking qualified assemblers and machine operators towork with our business client in Clearwater, FL.

• MACHINE OPERATOR, CORE, FIRST OR SECOND SHIFT

  ($9.50/hr DAYS, $10.50/hr NIGHTS)

• Responsibilities for these Assembler & Machine Operator jobsinclude:
• Operation of the Core / Strip winding machines, including settingup of machine and the materials needed based on shop orders anddrawings
• Troubleshoot and cut materials
• Forming cores in the required shape according to drawings.
• Inspect/gauge and identify of all cores by model.
• Units can weigh up to 50lbs.
• Use measuring equipment

• MUST BE AVAILABLE TO TRAIN DURING DAY SHIFT

  for 3-6 weeks

• Metal Fabrication or similar metal-work experience a PLUS
• Must be able to work 7:00am to 3:30pm (1st Shift) OR 4:30pm to1:00am (2nd Shift), plus OT during the week and weekends
• Must have good communication skills and ability toread/write/speak

English Experience:

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to Lift up to 35 lbs all day long
• Understand and Experience using measuring equipment
• Ability to safely operate overhead cranes/hoists (experiencepreferred)
• Basic computer and math/measurement skills
• Basic reading and verbal communication skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong understanding of production, safety, and PPE standards inan industrial environment
• MUST be available to

TRAIN DURING DAY SHIFT HOURS

(required for1st and 2nd shift)

• Must be available to work 40 hours per week, plus OT as neededincluding some weekends Qualified Candidates will be required to submit to employmentverification, drug screening, and criminal background checks.
