This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain machines such as door saws, boring machines, routers, edge banders, and CNC equipment. Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or specifications to determine machine setup and material requirements. Cut, trim, drill, or shape wood, metal, or composite door components. Inspect parts for quality assurance and accuracy before assembly or packaging. Ensure machines are functioning correctly, making minor adjustments and repairs as necessary. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety procedures and company policies. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality goals. Monitor inventory of raw materials and report low stock to supervisors. Assist in loading/unloading doors and components as needed. Record production data accurately and timely.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred. 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or woodworking environment (preferred). Ability to use hand tools and read measuring devices (tape measure, calipers). Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to stand, lift, bend, and work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods. Forklift certification (a plus).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Prolonged standing, walking, and manual labor in a production environment. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Work Environment:

Indoor manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery. May involve working in temperature-variable conditions.
