Responsibilities:
Operate packaging machines throughout the production processUse machines to fill, seal and weigh containersEnsure the machine is operational and safe before useStart the machine, monitor production, and adjust as neededInspect output for quality and damagesApply identification labels to packaged items or boxesTransport products to designated shipping or storage areasClear machine jamsLearn basic troubleshooting and perform minor repairsComply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gearMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Position Requirements:
Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not requiredAbility to operate a forklift and EPJ is a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with precisionRequired to stand for an extended timeMay engage in bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and liftingAbility to work in various weather and temperature conditionsStrong communication and collaboration skillsDetail-orientedGreat attendance and punctualSurge hires for a variety of top jobs in the area.
