Full Job Description Description:
As a Machine Operator you will gain a thorough knowledge of the packaging of coffee with automation. You will be responsible for operation equipment to pack coffee in whole bean, ground and coffee capsules. You will be cross trained in grinding, blending and flavoring. Along with other tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a pallet jack and other material-handling equipment to move products and materials as needed Follow daily production schedules to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment Operate automated bagging machines to package whole bean and ground coffee efficiently Run coffee capsule machines to produce high-quality single-serve coffee pods Navigate and utilize operator interface panels for equipment control and monitoring Prioritize and package urgent or high-priority products based on the daily production punch list Perform basic preventive maintenance on machinery independently or with the support of a technician Conduct equipment startup and shutdown procedures in accordance with operational standards Ensure all products meet safety, quality, and food handling standards, including using designated trained personnel when required Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation guidelines Support overall production operations by performing additional duties as assigned by management

High School Diploma or GED preferred Basic to intermediate computer proficiency General mechanical aptitude or familiarity with equipment operations Strong math skills with the ability to work accurately and efficiently Clear written and verbal communication skills Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to manufacturing best practices Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to flexible schedules, including occasional overtime Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and standard operating principles Physically capable of lifting up to 30-40 pounds regularly Comfortable with continuous physical activity, including standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion throughout the shift Dependable, punctual, and reliable attendance is essential Positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow with the company
