About Us:

Ormond Beach T-Shirt Company is a locally-owned custom apparel shop with over 5 years of experience bringing creativity to life for our amazing customers. We’re expanding—and looking for a skilled Embroidery Machine Operator to join us onsite and help make the magic happen.

What You’ll Do:

As our embroidery superstar, you’ll be hands-on with our multi-head embroidery machines, producing high-quality, customized products based on client specs. You’ll be juggling logos, patches, polos, tote bags, and whatever else walks in the door with flair and precision.

Your Daily Stitch List Includes:

Responsibilities include greeting and assisting walk-in customers Assist customers in-store and provide a friendly, welcoming experience Handle sales, help with order processing, including design setup, mockups and proofing Setting up, operating, and maintaining commercial embroidery machines (Happy, Tajima, Bai, Gangduo, etc.) Selecting appropriate fabrics, threads, needles, and stabilizers Reading and interpreting embroidery work orders and design specs Hoop, thread, sew, trim, inspect, finish, pack—and repeat! Troubleshooting minor machine issues to keep things running smoothly Working closely with our team and customers to bring designs to life Maintaining a tidy, organized, and safety-compliant workspace Jumping in to help across departments (DFX printing or sublimation) as needed Bring positive energy and a collaborative spirit to the team

What We’re Looking For:

1+ year of embroidery machine operation (multi-head experience preferred) Familiar with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or embroidery digitizing software (bonus!) Strong attention to detail and quality control Self-starter who can multitask under pressure and meet deadlines Able to lift boxes, stand for long periods, and work with your hands High school diploma or GED Clean background check and able to pass a drug test Solid communication skills and a passion for teamwork

Preferred Skills:

Digitizing skills or interest in design Basic machine maintenance and repair knowledge Embroidery, seamstress, tailor shop or alterations background Retail and customer service Graphic design (Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.)

Have hands-on experience in custom apparel production Know your way around commercial embroidery machines, heat presses, or commercial printers Love creating content and have an eye for local trends Enhance our community culture and engage with local events/trends Are highly organized and detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow Are excited about joining a growing local business and building something meaningful

Work Schedule:

Part-time Monday to Friday Occasional weekends or extended hours during busy seasons Overtime pay and performance bonuses available
