JOB OVERVIEW

Operates and maintains primarily non-CNC machinery or processes within the department with care and efficiency, maintaining required production levels (KPIs) and documents device history, service recommendations and scheduled preventative maintenance and performs recommended maintenance on assigned equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operates and maintains assigned equipment/machinery efficiently, maintaining production KPIs. (85%) Maintains all required documentation of work; notify quality when inspections are required and report any scrap parts/pieces. (5%) Notifies manager of any identified issues/errors on processes and/or tools and machines that require repair and/or replacement; notifies quality when inspections are required and reports any scrap parts if applicable; and identifies any issues or errors and notifies supervisor or manager of situation. (5%) Maintains a clean and clutter-free work area. (5%) Performs other duties as assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCE

One year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Certificate from college or technical school specific to Machine Operation a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Ability to read, understand and perform standard procedures and work instructions. Intermediate mechanical skills preferred. Basic math and logic skills required. Basic computer skills and software use experience required. Clear and effective communication skills via email, telephone, and video conferencing.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Travel – typically not required Position typically works in a manufacturing environment on site where environmental conditions are stable. May be exposed to higher levels of noise typical in a manufacturing environment.
