Overview:

Metal Shop Worker Monday through Friday, around 7:30 to 4, no weekends. In addition to hourly pay, there may be bonuses . We will train you, but you must be able to read a tape measure. You must have a valid driver’s license and some reliable form of transportation to work. 1

• We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for making roof panels and trim using computer CNC machines. A couple of our machines are mobile units. Training will be provided, but you must be detail oriented and able to read a tape measure. 2
• This person must have delivery driver experience, some experience pulling a trailer .

We will provide training as necessary.

Duties:

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components based on project specifications
• Operate machinery such as forklifts, CNC machines, other equipment
• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal materials
• Must be able to read a tape measure. Don’t apply if you can’t read a Tape
• Measure and inspect fabricated parts using micrometers and other precision instruments
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity.

Skills:

• Mechanical knowledge to operate various machinery and tools safely.
• Familiarity with codes standards related to metal fabrication a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process
