Machine Operator 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars Kennesaw, GA 30152 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products while ensuring safety and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of machine operations, maintenance, and quality control processes. Responsibilities Operate and monitor machinery including CNC machines, stamping presses, and press brake machines to ensure optimal performance. Perform setup, adjustments, and routine maintenance on machines to maintain production quality. Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products. Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery to ensure a safe work environment. Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and any incidents or issues encountered during operation. Requirements Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with operating various types of machinery including lathes, welders, and Fanuc systems is preferred. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory. Willingness to learn new skills related to machine operation and maintenance.
