Volt is immediately hiring General Warehouse Laborer/CNC Operatorin SMYRNA, Tennessee United States As a General Warehouse Laborer/CNC Operator- you will be.
Job Description:
Material using Material Handling Equipment (MHE) or loading a truckusing MHE. This will typically require familiarity with a warehouseor distribution environment, ability to operate a pallet jack,ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to lift to 50pounds, and good reading, writing, and communication skills. Laborers will be using a hot wire machine to reduce the size of ourunusable scrap and must utilize PPE each day such as safety shoes(composite/steel toe), protective eyewear (provided), hearingprotection(provided), etc. Laborers will operate CNC machines that will require the materialto be loaded onto the machine. Once the file is completed, theywill remove the sheet and stack it appropriately then repeats theprocess. We have various other pieces of equipment that if they are requiredto use, they will be appropriately trained before use. This position is for the 2nd shift but will be trained on 1st shiftfor 2 – 3 weeks.
