POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Utilizes the Work Center Dispatch Report in due date order tocoordinate workflow scheduling. Exceptions will be communicated byproduction control or operations manager.
  • Must be able to perform all job requirements of a Turret Operatorand Laser Operator.
  • Must be able to train operators in job details, safe operation ofequipment and safety awareness.
  • Assists the operators with set-ups, tooling changes, questions andworkload responsibilities.
  • Keep Operations Manager advised of work status, workload, problemsand progress as related to work assignments.
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers and usesimple math to perform basic calculations.
  • Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations andinstructions.
  • Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with productionrequirements.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in clean orderly condition,performs preventative maintenance, light maintenance tasks ofequipment and follows prescribed safety procedures.
  • Ability to work with chemicals, solvents and lubricants.
  • Must have a working command of the English language, and be able tocommunicate orally and in writing.
