2nd Shift Machine Operator 2.1 2.1 out of 5 stars Lilburn, GA 30047 JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for operating one of the following: Presses, Grinders, Laser welders, Sintering press or other secondary metal processing equipment Responsibilities include: Maintain a safe and efficient work environment Perform in process checks on parts and minimize scrap Maintaining area cleanliness Perform work in line with quality requirements and ensure that parts are made to print Data entry on computer system Perform daily checks on machines Additional items as assigned by manager
PRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANY
This position interacts with other manufacturing personnel, project managers, and area supervisor.
COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of ability to operate various machines and secondary equipment Have basic knowledge of measurements using calipers and micrometers. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School graduate or GED 1 year of experience operating stamping presses and secondary equipment

This position will use an equipment for pressing, grinding, laser welding and processing equipment.
WORKING AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
This position works on the manufacturing floor. They must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
