Helper/Trainee
BD CONCRETE CUTTING 4515
South Old Peachtree Road, Berkeley Lake, GA 30071 Job Description Assist the Operator to complete each job in a timely and safe manor. This includes the loading and unloading of the Operator’s truck. When returning to shop after a job, the helper is required to fill the truck with fuel and water for the next day, as well as, work alongside the Operator to make sure they have everything on the truck that is needed for the following day. Helper is to do what is asked of them by the Operator when on a jobsite as long as it pertains to the job and is safe. This includes, cleaning up, vacuuming of slurry, getting tools off the truck, hand removing concrete, and assist with holding cords and hoses while Operator is sawing. A helper may be asked to get in lifts, stand on scaffolding, or get in trenches to assist the Operator. Our helpers learn from and are trained by our experienced Operators, then will eventually learn how to use saws and be able to run a truck. Helpers will be required to have a MVR ran as well as a physical and drug, vision and hearing screening
