You support our team as Set-Up Technician We are currently seeking a Set-up Technician to join our team. The Set-up Technician will play a crucial role in preventive maintenance, performing changeovers, and repairing machines and equipment to ensure seamless production operations.

Job Type:

Full-time, 2nd Shift – 2:55 pm to 11:05 pm

Work Location:

In person (Gainesville, GA)

Responsibilities:

Start and verify production processes. Perform maintenance on machines and equipment. Conduct minor repairs and troubleshoot issues with molding machines and related equipment. Execute changeovers on injection molding machines. Set tools and operate overhead crane. Handle materials efficiently. Operate machines. Record production activities accurately. Conduct quality inspections following International Automotive Task Force quality standards (IATF 16949). Collaborate with team members and assist with complex tasks. Follow Internal Quality Issues procedures (IQI). Ensure adherence to First in, First out (FIFO) practices. Maintain compliance with safety rules and policies. Uphold housekeeping standards using the 5S methodology.

Education and Skills Requirements:
Desired:

Vocational or Certificate Training Minimum 2-4 years of work experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment; desired 5 years or more Proficient reading comprehension of work instructions. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Technical proficiency. Knowledge of injection molding machines (maintenance, setup, operation). Hands-on troubleshooting skills. Basic understanding of the metric system.

Preferred:
