OPERATION FUNCTIONS
Start-up, operate and shut down the EREMA repalletizing machine on a continuous basis. Perform maintenance checks on the reel feeder, cutter-compactor, pelletizer head, shaker table, and material transfer equipment. Change the extruder screens as needed. Replace the pelletizer and cutter-compactor blades as needed. Keep the water tank level full and clean out debris periodically. Load the roll stands or infeed conveyor with stock material to be pelletized. Change the box at the fill stand when full. Weigh and label the filled boxes with a net weight. Store the filled boxes in the designated location in a safe and orderly manner.
INSPECTION / QUALITY CONTROL FUNCTIONS
Inspect the designated regrind stock to eliminate contaminants from being entered into the pellets. Inspect the finished pellet size, shape and uniformity. Make process adjustments as needed. Verify that the pellets are dry and free of any contamination. Maintain documentation within the established guidelines.
