Machine Operator CHASE Professionals Pendergrass, GA 30567
POSITION SUMMARY:
The machinist will be responsible for crankcase, cylinder head, and/or general engine component remanufacturing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Machinist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: Inspection and full remanufacturing of crankcases, cylinder heads, and/or other engine components. Inspection and reworking other various engine components as required. Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction. Safely Load and unload product into a machine Protect machines and machined product by following processes and procedures such as part loading, being in control of the machine, and safely transporting product over short distances. Maintain product quality through monitoring and adjusting offsets as needed. Perform first article and buyoff. Meets production demands. Ability to work overtime as needed. Ability to skillfully operate crankcase remanufacturing machines. Confirming orders into SAP Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
HS Diploma or Equivalent 3+ years’ experience with general CNC Lathe and mill operations Knowledge of inspection tools and their proper use Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Knowledge of Engines Experience operating a Sunnen Hone & HAAS CNC vertical mill
