Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Lamination Operator Assistant to join our production team. Your primary duty will be to assist the machine operator with all tasks necessary to ensure smooth and efficient operation, while supporting high-quality output and a safe work environment. You will also be expected to adapt and move between tasks or fill in for absent team members as needed to keep production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to the machine operator, including setup, material handling, and task coordination. Assist in operating and maintaining flame lamination equipment. Monitor production to maintain quality and efficiency standards. Handle materials, such as fabrics, foams, and adhesives, with care. Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs. Flexibly move between tasks or roles to accommodate production needs or cover for absent team members. Adhere to safety protocols and keep the workspace clean.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in manufacturing or machine operation is a plus but not required. Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions. Basic mechanical skills and a problem-solving mindset. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities or team needs.
