out of 5 stars 14271 Nisshinbo Dr, Covington, GA 30014 Supports Curing Manufacturing Function by setting up, operating and troubleshooting all of the machines assigned in their respective area; by running the daily production operations (breaking out of operators); by communicating with the department Supervisor or Team Leader on a daily basis to receive the scheduled job assignment; by completing all necessary documents in a timely manner; by understanding the basic principles of SPC; by assisting the Supervisor or Team Leader with Quality and continuous improvement activities; by contributing to departmental improvements through the creation of work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOP), troubleshooting guides, etc; by setting up press after mold change (temperature checks and material change overs); and by performing other duties as assigned. Maintains Department Safety by wearing the proper PPE; by identifying and reporting potential safety hazards; by maintaining the work area using the principles of 5S; by performing Control-by-Looking tests; by performing and maintaining the 3S check system; by supporting and taking the lead during a fire, power outage, or severe weather condition; by maintaining a high quality product level, and take appropriate action when unusual occurrences happen; by assisting with the spot cooler checks on a daily basis; by performing GS checks at curing; and by providing sound safety and troubleshooting skills to the department. Oversees Staff by learning, practicing and training all manufacturing techniques; by scheduling operators to maximize productivity and exceeding the daily production targets; by adhering to the Company’s attendance policies; by training and teaching other Staff and operators in the department the 5S principles; by acting as an Operator Trainer to other Staff on all manufacturing techniques; and by providing sound management and leadership skills to subordinate Staff members. Maintains Documentation by developing and maintaining a filing system for all documentation within the curing department; and by organizing, labeling and maintaining all storage cabinets for the department. Manages Time and Resources by using tools provided by the Company in order to maximize productivity and to accomplish tasks on time. Keeps Management Informed by participating in meetings; and by reporting problems to Management verbally or in writing in order to avoid confusion and further problems. Performs General Administrative Duties. As assigned by manager, supervisor, or team leader. •
