Machine Operator BGF Ecomaterials 371 S Progress Blvd, West Point, GA 31833 Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that machinery operates efficiently and effectively. This position requires a strong understanding of various manufacturing processes, particularly in plastics injection and blow molding, as well as proficiency with precision measuring instruments and hand tools. Duties Operate and monitor machinery for plastics injection molding and blow molding processes. Set up machines according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and calibration. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers to verify product dimensions and quality. Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Handle materials appropriately, ensuring safe and efficient movement within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve production challenges. Maintain accurate records of production outputs, machine settings, and maintenance activities. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Experience in machine operation within a manufacturing setting is preferred. Familiarity with plastics injection molding and blow molding processes is highly desirable. Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers. Basic math skills for calculating measurements and production metrics. Knowledge of logic controllers for machine programming is an advantage.
