Job Description
POSITION
Recycle Cardboard Baler Operator 1WORK
SCHEDULE
Monday thru Friday, 7:00 am
- 4:00 pm
Duties:
Standing on top platform
- Monitor the quantity and type of cardboard dumped into the Hopper
- Operate the controls to bale, stop, etc.
- Use various tools to push cardboard into the Hopper
- Pick-up cardboard on the floor and manually throw into the HopperDrive forklift to move items throughout the building, yard, trailers, etc.
Drive skid steer.
Assist with receiving and loading trailers.
Daily inspection of powered industrial vehicles and balerAs needed, perform jobs in yarn baling, yarn line, production, etc.
Requirements:
Minimum 6 mos. experience operating and driving heavy construction equipment.
Submit to and pass a GCIC background check and a level 10 drug screen.
Standing for long period of time.
Driving powered industrial equipment with frequent entry and exit into the vehicle.
Ability to:owork with others and independently.oMaintain calm demeanor in times of stress, temperature changes, equipment malfunction, etc.oPay close attention to equipment and materialoDependable in work performance and attendance/punctuality
