Plastic Injection Machine Operator BGF Ecomaterials 371 S Progress Blvd, West Point, GA 31833 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, quality inspection techniques, and safety protocols within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Operate and monitor machinery, including CNC machines, plastics extrusion, and blow molding equipment. Perform quality inspections on finished products using calipers and micrometers to ensure adherence to specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machinery or production processes. Maintain accurate production records and logs. Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Handle materials safely and effectively throughout the production process. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while ensuring safety standards are upheld. Skills Proficient in quality inspection techniques and tools such as calipers and micrometers. Experience with machining processes, including CNC operations. Knowledge of logic controllers and their applications in manufacturing settings. Familiarity with plastics extrusion and blow molding processes is a plus.
