Shift Lead (Extrusion)
Creative Plastics – Dalton, GA
Monday-Friday
12:00am-8:30am
Are you ready to step into a leadership role and take charge of a high-performing production team? Creative Plastics is seeking a driven and hands-on Extrusion Lead to supervise daily operations in our plastic extrusion department. If you’re a natural leader with a passion for production and continuous improvement, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities:
Leading and mentoring a team of extrusion operators to hit production targets.
Promoting and enforcing a safe work environment—always.
Monitoring machine operations and resolving equipment or process issues.
Working closely with purchasing to ensure materials and tools are available.
Addressing quality concerns and implementing corrective actions.
Driving continuous improvement and reducing waste across the floor.
Acting as the go-to person for troubleshooting and daily production support.
Requirements:
1-2 years of proven leadership experience—ideally in extrusion.
Solid understanding of extrusion processes and production flow.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ideal for someone who is:
Problem solver and detail-oriented
Possesses strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
Willing to be hands-on and adaptable in multiple roles.
