Jewelry Production Overview:

Completeful is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Electroplating Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. This role focuses heavily on the chemical and electrochemical finishing of metal jewelry pieces , including electroplating, polishing, and surface preparation . Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with electroplating systems and a background in chemistry, metal finishing, or materials science .

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and assemble jewelry components (rings, necklaces, bracelets) for electroplating Operate and maintain electroplating equipment for gold, silver, and other metal finishes Mix and monitor chemical solutions used in plating processes Perform surface prep techniques such as sanding, cleaning, and etching Polish and finish metal items to meet quality and appearance standards Conduct quality control checks to ensure precise plating and personalization accuracy Maintain safe and clean working conditions in compliance with chemical handling protocols Troubleshoot plating irregularities, monitor bath performance, and report any deviations Assist with jewelry assembly and operate lasers for engraving customizations when not engaged in electroplating Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional departments as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience with electroplating or metal finishing strongly preferred Background in chemistry, chemical handling, or lab work a plus Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to fine detail Ability to follow precise processes and safety procedures Basic computer literacy for logging and labeling Must be comfortable working with chemicals and

PPE Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required Trade certification, chemistry coursework, or lab experience a plus Prior work in jewelry production or precision manufacturing preferred

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods Strong visual acuity for working with small parts
