Job Description:

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing manufacturing companyin the Youngsville area who is hiring an Extrusion Operator to jointheir team. This is a contract to hire opportunity working on 1stshift, 8am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

Operator willset up and run extrusion and glue machinery, performing qualitychecks, and routine maintenance. Operator will monitor equipmentduring production to ensure consistent product quality, accuratelymeasure dimensions using tools like calipers, and report productiondata. Operator will maintain inventory accuracy by trackingmaterial usage, minimizing waste, and assisting with physicalinventories and changeovers. Operator will uphold safety andcleanliness standards, participate in Lean and continuousimprovement initiatives, and safely move materials using forkliftsand manual methods.

Requirements:

Operator must have 2-5 years ofexperience in extrusion, glue operations, or batch mixing in amanufacturing environment. Operator must have strong mechanicalaptitude and be comfortable operating industrial machinery andperforming minor maintenance. Operator must have the ability toread a metric tape measure and use precision tools such ascalipers. Operator must have the physical ability to stand forextended periods and perform tasks involving climbing, kneeling, orlifting. Operator must be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, andopen to learning and process improvement, with the potential togrow into leadership roles.
