Duties Operation of progressive dies, single hit operations and running tapping lines, performing inspections of various parts using varied measurement tools, reporting faulty machine operation or faulty parts to Supervisor/Quality Control department, completing necessary paperwork as assigned, maintaining clean work area. Skills/Responsibilities Set Up and Operate Stamping Presses o Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine job specifications. o Install, align, and adjust dies, punches, and other tooling in the press. o Load raw materials (e.g., metal coils, blanks) into the press. o Monitor inventory of key components used in daily operation. o Perform routine cleaning/maintenance on machine o Follow directions and perform job duties with limited supervision. o Perform basic math calculations. o Lift 50 lbs. or more repeatedly. o Collaborate with supervisors, quality control, and maintenance teams to optimize production and resolve issues. o Communicate production status, challenges, and improvements effectively. o May assist in training new operators.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Previous experience operating metal stamping presses or similar manufacturing machinery – 2 years or more preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
