Manufacturing Operator I – 2nd Shift Responsibilities Dispensingraw material and primary packing materials as per work order andchecking of raw material and primary packing materials. Ensure theproper planning and execution of batches. Performing cleaning andsanitation of production area and machinery as per respectiveprocedures. Daily monitoring of production performance. Performmanufacturing processes and document activities in batch recordsand logbooks. Machine operation with minimum rejections and maximumoutputs while maintaining quality standards within the standardnorms. Operating equipment and performing necessary maintenance onmachinery. Ensure equipment upkeep in co-ordination withengineering for preventive maintenance and calibration. Maintaininginventory of machine parts, tools and accessories. Workingindividually and in collaboration with others as part of a team.

Collaborate with packaging, maintenance, quality teams for crossfunctional activities. Ensure status labelling at all stages ofmanufacturing, filling and cleaning. Identifying and assisting inany corrective actions. Perform, check and ensurecalibration/verification of instruments, equipment and weighingbalances as per schedule. Perform line clearance checks. Wearingappropriate PPE as stated in the SOP before entering any processingareas. Following procedures to complete tasks in a safe andefficient manner. Performing duties through the proper safe use ofequipment, according to Health & Safety procedures and EquipmentManuals. Be able to operate computer systems with ease. Knowledgeof pharmaceutical manufacturing and related documents. Basicunderstanding of deviation, CAPA, change control, FMECA , OOS,OOTand OOAC. Maintaining and followed 100% cGMP, GDP and SOPCompliance during complete operation hours. Complying with allcompany policies and procedures. Reporting all issues that arisesto the department head or reporting manager. Performing dailymaintenance on equipment and machinery. Completing alldocumentation in a timely manner, ensuring their integrity,accuracy and completeness. Maintaining discipline in department.

May be required to assist in the training of other employees in thedepartment. Flexible to work extended hours, to achievemanufacturing schedule when needed. All employees must undergovarious training activities at the start of their employment. Newtrainings and re-trainings will occur periodically. Operators maybe required cross-train in all areas of the manufacturingoperations. Employees must strictly adhere to all safety, health,and environmental guidelines at all times and ensure that allsafety precaution are being taken during handling of machinesRequirements 1 year of manufacturing experience in pharmaceuticalindustry. MDI experience is highly preferred. High school diplomaor equivalent is required. Accredited college certificate oruniversity degree is preferred. Proficient in the English language(Speaking/Reading/Writing) to understand work instructions anddocument results. Knowledge of fundamental cGMP and regulatoryrequirements in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment highlypreferred. Basic understanding of mechanical machinery and theoperating principles of control systems. Ability to follow bothverbal and written instructions. Demonstrated ability to work inboth independent and team environments. Good knowledge of Health &Safety procedures, including, OSHA. Strong mathematical andorganizational skills. This position requires the ability to doheavy lifting / bending frequently. Ability to wear appropriate PPEis required. Individual may be required to wear respiratory devicesthat include but are not limited to: Air Purifying Respirators(APR) which include half-face and full-face negative pressurerespirators, hooded powered air purifying respirators, or SuppliedAir Respirators (SAR), which include hooded or full face suppliedair respirators.
