Setup Operator / Mechanic Position Available In Bristol, Massachusetts

Set up and operate die cast machines (Conventional and Techmire) toproduce die cast parts according to specifications on assigned machines.

Prepare and pre-set all tools needed for machining operations. Adjustsor corrects existing tooling and set-up, change or alter tools tomaintain quality of work, make repairs in accordance withspecifications. Troubleshoot and makes corrective adjustments asrequired. Troubleshoot machines? hydraulic, pneumatic and electricalsystems. Perform inspections of parts using various visual and gaugingtechniques (verniers, micrometer, pin gages, drop gages) and compare topredetermined standard sample. This is a physically demanding positionrequiring moderately heavy lifting, dexterity and good mechanicalskills. Qualified candidates must be able to read prints, and calculatemeasurements, examine finished surfaces and parts for any defects. 1Position is local and 1 is in Cranston, RI.
