Responsibilities of the 1st Shift Machine Operator Operate and monitor equipment to ensure efficient production. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly. Follow production schedules and calculate necessary formulas accurately. Utilize both automated and manual equipment, including hand tools and packaging machinery. Maintain quality standards while producing products at specified rates. Exercise good judgment to comply with instructions and standard procedures. Requirements of the 1st Shift Machine Operator High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in reading and writing in English. Ability to stand for 8 or more hours and lift up to 20 pounds frequently. Strong understanding of basic arithmetic and ability to calculate percentages. Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Basic computer knowledge is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills.
