CNC Technician E2 Group Southwick, MA 01077
Job Summary:
Responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Duties include checking machine fluid levels, performing minor repairs and contracting tasks, and ensuring overall cleanliness and functionality of the shop. Supports equipment uptime and preventative maintenance efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE at all times Inspect and maintain facility operations and shop areas Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment across all departments Maintain tools in proper working condition and use them safely Report malfunctions, safety concerns, and incidents to management promptly Support preventative maintenance schedules and critical equipment uptime Receive and store incoming materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes Monitor and maintain proper machine fluid levels Perform general groundskeeping and facility upkeep Adhere to company policies and maintain a clean, organized workspace Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous maintenance experience preferred Familiarity with CNC machines such as Niigata, Matsuura, Nakamura, Mazak, Haas, Yasda Preforming spindle changes and rotary rebuilds. Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills Clear written and verbal communication skills Forklift experience or willingness to learn Team-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills High school diploma or equivalent
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Typical production environment with exposure to noise, fumes, fluids, and moving machinery May require travel between facilities Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb into/out of machines, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods

$30.00 – $40.00 per hour
