Our dairy cooperative isseeking a regular, full-time Powder Machine Operator for second shift(3pm-11pm). The Powder Operator will ensure that powder is properlypackaged according to type, including accurate weights, 100% sealintegrity and correct lab sampling prior to conveyance to the warehouse.
Maintain facilities in a sanitary manner to include washing of equipmentand cleaning of walls, floors, ceilings and other non-contact surfaces.
Position responsibilities include: Schedule flexibility, willingness towork overtime, weekends, holiday and rotate shift, as required. At timesovertime, weekend work, holiday work and shift rotation will bemandatory. Operate carousel bagger and tote filler ensuring that powderbags are consistent in weight and air evacuation. Perform routineoperator maintenance on equipment. Maintain and clean bag sealer toensure optimum performance. Perform metal checks according to standardoperating procedure. Properly sample and maintain lot integrity. Emptysly daily and re-bag broken containers, as required. Verify that allrequired documents are filled out properly and are accurate inaccordance with Safety and SQF procedures. Qualified candidates shouldhave High School Diploma (or GED or HiSet) and current or previousmachine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
