Schedule:

This is for (1) open 3rdshift position. Monday

• Friday 10PM to 6:30 AM with Saturdays asovertime as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Properly form bulk cans insuch a manner as to supply bulk can filler at all times;
• Adddesignated lids to lid descrambler on scround/quart lines and ensureproper operation to supply filler at all times;
• Calculate usage ratesand operate ingredient feeder and variegate following SOP’s to ensureproper type and quantities of ingredients and variegates areconsistently added into ice cream;
• Assist in operation of bandingmachines and change rolls as needed;
• Assist in disassembly, cleaning,and assembly of ingredient feeders, variegate systems, and other relatedequipment;
• Verify metal detectors are operating properly and completedocumentation according to SOP’s;
• Operate bundler in such a manner asto ensure a consistent/quality wrap is being applied to containers.

Change rolls as necessary;

• Palletize product if necessary to maintainproduction, e.g. during temporary breakdowns in hardening systems;
• Assist filler operator during flavor changes and when problems arise inorder to maximize productivity and quality of the work center;
• Packsandwich boxes into sleeves, and ensure finished cases are properlycoded and shrink wrapped;
• Operate PIT to move packaging and materialin and out of work centers;
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, aswell as clean and safe work practices at all times. This includesremoval and disposal of all trash and cardboard as well as removal anddisposition of rework and scrap barrels;
• Follow all Company, State,and Federal requirements, ensuring compliance with all GMP’s, SOP’s,and any other regulation;
• Work effectively as part of a team anddisplay a positive attitude;
• Other duties as assigned.

SQFRequirements/Responsibilities:

• Support SQF by maintaining food safetyand food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the workarea in a sanitary manner following prescribed procedures;
• Report foodsafety problems to a supervisor or manager;

Education and Experience:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Basic math and computer skills;
• Ability to work independently and within a group/team atmosphere;
• Goodorganizational and time management skills. Exact compensation may varybased on skills, experience and location. The pay range for thisposition is $23.63
