BINDERY OPERATOR JOB SUMMARY
The Bindery Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of equipment in the Bindery Department. This role ensures efficient, high-quality production, supports team productivity, and reports directly to the Bindery Manager.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and operate bindery machines, including more complex configurations.
Monitor equipment during operation to ensure quality output and address any issues as they arise.
Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed.
Maintain a strong understanding of equipment operation and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills.
Collaborate effectively with coworkers in a team environment.
Maintain a safe and clean work area and contribute to the overall safety of the workplace.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Mechanically inclined, with prior experience operating machinery preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong attention to detail and an organized approach to work.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Capable of bending and lifting up to 40 lbs., and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
