Full Job Description Position:

Production Mixer Job Summary:

Follow documented recipes/formulas to ensure proper production of finished product. Oversee the loading and mixing procedures of each production batch. Pick raw materials from the warehouse/cooler for products to be produced. Record lot code information for all raw materials used in producing the products. Inspect finished product for quality, consistency and taste, approving all product before releasing for filling into gallon package. Enforce all Good Manufacturing Practices and ensure all GMP’s are followed by everyone working in the production area.

Responsibilities:

• Properly pull and stage raw materials for product mixing.
• Weigh / load materials into mixing tank per product recipe.
• Mix product in accordance with recipe instructions.
• Monitor mixing operation and inspect completed product to guarantee accurate product results.
• Report any deviation from product standard and work with Management to correct.
• Wash down of all equipment (CIP) and production work area.
• Ensure all raw materials are returned properly to cooler / warehouse.
• Enforce all GMP’s are followed w/in the production area.
• Follow all food allergen procedures.
• Complete all additional tasks at the request of management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Read, write and speak English. Perform basic math. Occasionally able to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong organizational ability. Good communication skills. Ability to work in cooler for short periods. Capable of standing / moving for 8 hour shift.
