Full Job Description Duties:

• Operate and maintain machines used in production processes
• Set up machine, packaging film with eye mark-without eye mark. Set up date code properly per customer request. Change feed belt as needed. Inspect chain, flights, and sprockets with each change over. Set rails as needed by product size, change as needed. make all necessary adjustments on screen. Record start time, all down time in logbook, end time.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and quality output
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
• Package finished products for shipment or distribution
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of basic math and measurements for accurate machine setup and product inspection
• Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in manufacturing processes
• Ability to read a manual
• Some heavy lifting involved up to 35lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if required
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
