Responsibilities
Act as a high-level technician, providing mentorship and critical evaluation of processes.
Perform aseptic gowning, material flow, and operate processing equipment with strict compliance to SOPs and GMP standards.
Conduct quality investigations, review manufacturing batch records, and collaborate with Quality & PD teams.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and provide mentorship to peers.
Maintain up-to-date training records and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
SME on 1 Unit Operation.
Acquires samples of batches/products in accordance with company procedures; submits samples to required functional areas for testing and to resolve specific properties. Records/analyzes results and takes appropriate action.
Responsible for the upkeep of manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment and product issues, and support batch record reconciliation.
Participate in performance huddles and help plan process schedules.
Uphold a culture of safety by identifying and resolving safety observations.
90% of time spent on the floor
Work Hours:
This position will generally require the ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift in a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation to include evenings and holidays.
Education/Experience/Equivalency
High School Diploma with 3+ years of proven experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 1+ years of proven experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Full understanding of GMP and cleanroom concepts.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret data and follow detailed procedures.
Proven track record to work autonomously and in a team environment.
Proficiency in pharmaceutical processes, equipment, and adherence to PPE requirements.
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to stand, use hands, reach, sit, talk, and hear.
Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, and stair climbing.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for up to 4 hours.
Specific vision abilities including close vision and focus adjustment.
