- Experience Dependent Job Description We are now hiring a Filler Operator in Portland, ME.
In this role, you will be operating filling equipment and machinery on the production line. You will interpret production schedules, set up, start, and run machines throughout the day. You must be able to lift 50+ lbs and maintain good manufacturing practices while wearing PPE for the duration of your shift. Responsibilities Operate filling equipment and machinery on the production line. Interpret production schedules from the manager and set up machines accordingly. Start and run machines throughout the day. Maintain good manufacturing practices. Lift 50+ lbs. Wear PPE throughout the shift. Essential Skills Previous food manufacturing or production experience preferred. Comfortable working with PPE during the entire shift. Ability to set up, maintain, and run equipment for a 10-hour shift. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Strong English reading and writing skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in production, general labor, packaging, machine operation, or food manufacturing. Why Work Here?
