Machine Operator 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars South Portland, ME CoWorx is looking for a Skilled Machine Operator to join our electronics manufacturing team in South Portland, ME![br[ This is a full-time, 1st shift position (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday) with competitive pay and a supportive work environment. The Machine Operator will set up, operate, and maintain surface mount technology (SMT) machines used in the production of printed circuit boards (PCBs). You’ll play a key role in ensuring quality and efficiency across all assembly processes.

South Portland, ME;

Payrate :

$20/hr

Responsibilities:

Set up, run, and monitor machines (pick-and-place, stencil printers, reflow ovens) Load components/feeds per job setup sheets Perform first article inspections and in-process visual checks Troubleshoot errors and adjust as needed Perform routine maintenance and keep detailed production records Work closely with engineers and quality teams Follow all safety and company procedures

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read assembly drawings and component datasheets Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Basic computer skills Experience with SMT process, IPC standards, and ESD protocols preferred
