May 16, 2025 Masis Staffing is seeking a SMT Machine Operator for an electronics components company in South Portland. This is a temp-to-hire position with weekly pay. To utilize SMT machines to place surface mount parts and solder reflow the devices to the PCB. 1st Shift

Experience Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor SMT machines (e.g., pick-and-place, stencil printers, reflow ovens)
Load components and feeders into SMT equipment per the job setup sheets and BOM.
Perform first article inspections and verify component placement and orientation.
Conduct in-process visual inspections and make necessary adjustments to correct defects.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot machine errors and production issues with minimal supervision. Maintain production logs, machine setup records, and quality checklists.

Qualifications/Education:

Must be US citizen, ITAR controlled company
High School diploma or GED Equivalent Previous electronic experience is a plus
Basic computer skills Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and component datasheets
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
