Extruder Operator Job Description We are now hiring in Biddeford for extrusion operators. In this role, you will be operating an extruder and handling plastic products. This role requires basic computer work, and lifting of up to 50 lbs. You will be trained on operating an electric pallet jack and other warehouse equipment to transport finished goods to shipping. Other duties include palletizing and documentation. Math skills are required. Responsibilities Operate an extruder and handle plastic products. Perform basic computer work. Essential Skills Production experience Manufacturing experience Machine operation experience Extrusion experience Ability to lift 50+ lbs Mechanical aptitude Basic math skills Additional Skills & Qualifications 6 months of manufacturing or production experience Ability to communicate safely and effectively in English Why Work Here? We offer monthly bonuses based on pounds shipped out, averaging about $2300 in total bonus pay over 12 months. Additionally, we provide a sign-on bonus with $500 at 90 days, $1,000 at 6 months, and $1,000 at one year. Work Environment You will be working in a manufacturing facility with a team of fewer than 15 members. The facility can be warm in the summer, and all employees are required to wear PPE, including glasses and gloves. The work hours are from 5 am to 2 pm, Monday to Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Biddeford, Maine. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $18.00/hr.
