Bindery Operator 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 5111 SW Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110 River City Litho is looking for someone who has some bindery experience with machine such as MBO Folder, Muller Martini Saddle Stitcher, UV Coater and a Hydraulic Paper Cutter, has great communication and time management skills, is reliable and enjoys working in a fast paced environment to support our production team. River City Litho is a commercial printing and mailing company looking to hire on an additional Bindery Associate for our day shift.

Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Essential Functions:
Folding Machine or Cutter Machine Operation:
Perform proper machine start-up and shut down procedures. Operate assigned equipment according to the job tickets and sample boards, with minimal supervision. Read, review and interpret instructions on job ticket using key information for set ups and operations, including trouble shooting and correction as necessary. Checks and verifies job components against job ticket to codes and other key information and indicators. Ability to read and understand USPS reports, rosters and tray tag information. Maintain, complete, and verify paperwork for each production run documenting: production run time, spoilage, down time, maintenance sheets, postal information, meter readings, and other production logs as directed by supervisor. Additional Responsibilities:
Prepare mail for delivery: Lift and unload containers of mail or parcels onto equipment for transportation to/from sortation stations. Handle special projects and other duties as assigned by management. Promote a clean and safe work area.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations. Ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodation. Ability to work in fast paced environment Good communication skills
