Compounder GRT Rubber – Ripley Operations Ripley, MS 38663

Mixing $18.63 hourly
Full Time Shift:
1st 5am to 3pm Mon-Thurs (occasional OT)
ESSENTIAL TASKS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE
Read the schedule and find proper Mixing Specification Sheet. Identify materials listed under
POLYMERS
on Mixing Specifications Sheet Operate guillotine to cut rubber to proper weight. Operate vacuum hoist to transfer rubber bales from gaylord boxes to scale or guillotine. Read digital scale to 1 decimal place to accurately weigh rubber. Weigh accurately to 1 lb. each rubber listed under
POLYMERS
on Mix. Spec Sheet Load “Heavy Compound” tub and “light side” bag onto charging conveyor Physically lift up to 90 lbs. with assistance of hoist; up to 75 lbs. without assistance. Check accuracy of rubber scales at beginning of each shift. Must possess a forklift license and be able to drive a forklift. Must be able to climb 3 to 4 flights of stairs. Contact supervisor when issues occur that may affect quality and productivity. Promote good housekeeping, 5S, and safety practices in all activities. Must be able to perform all tasks assigned. Must have the ability to solve technical issues.
