Receives and stacks lumber truss components from the saw.
Job Duties :
Efficiently stacks lumber truss components from the saw Organizes lumber truss components by job number, truss type, and batch letter on lumber carts Verifies accuracy of truss component lengths and communicates variances greater than 1/16 to the Sawyer Maintains a clean work area, free from excess amounts of sawdust Complies with Company’s attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance Adheres to OSHA requirements and company policies/procedures to ensure safety at all times Performs other duties, as assigned

Strong work ethic Ability to work quickly and methodically Basic math skills Good hand dexterity Dependability Reliable mode of transportation Ability to read a tape measure
Education/Experience :
High School Diploma/GED preferred.
Work Environment :
While performing this job’s duties, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and bend over. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 80 pounds. While performing this job’s duties, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather). The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration.
