3rd shift Machine Operator Lead Position Available In Buncombe, North Carolina

A Fletcher, NC manufacturer is seeking a 3rd shift Lead Machine Operator. You’ll work with a small crew to ensure work orders are executed with quality. Please note, while leading the team, you’ll also be operating a machine and running parts. Role and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Managing a team of 2-3 production line employees
• Overseeing the production process to meet orders and deadlines
• Ensuring that production is running smoothly and efficiently
• Organizing and delegating tasks to production line workers
• Inspecting products to ensure they meet company and industry standards
• Monitoring the production process and making necessary adjustments for efficiency
• Upholding safety regulations and quality control measures
• Maintaining communication between management and production line workers
• Reporting and resolving any issues or disruptions of the production process
• Check machinery daily for any safety issues
• Wear appropriate PPE to perform the task
• Operate various production equipment.
• Responsible for ensuring efficient production that conforms to quality standards
• Report daily labor into the ERP system
• Responsible for general housekeeping in your work area
• Moving material throughout the production process with a forklift Qualifications and Education Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent attention to detail
• Mechanical aptitude
• Able to work independently
• Dependable with proven attendance records
• Previous leadership experience Schedule is Monday – Thursday 8pm to 6:30am.

$21/hr to start.
