Job DescriptionAssociate MachineOperator
- InspectorThis shift requires availability Monday throughFriday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, along with excellent punctualityand attendance.
The primary purpose of this job is to operate andmonitor machines routinely used in the production of theorganization’s product. May be involved in the basic set-up,calibration, and maintenance of equipment and/or perform finishoperations.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Adheres to Company Core Beliefs and all safety and qualityrequirements. Operates machinery used in the manufacture of products withclose supervision. May be involved in the basic set-up and/or calibration ofequipment. Loads component materials into product specific tools and/orperforms finishing operations. Reads and follows operating manuals, maintenance instructionsand procedures. Inspects parts visually and dimensionally to assure conformanceto requirements. Follows established documentation for productmanufacturing. Cleans and maintains machinery as necessary. Performs other functions as required.
Other Job Requirements Minimum Education:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Technical or vocational schooling preferred.
Minimum Experience:
0-1 year experience operating machinery ina manufacturing environment.
Specialized Knowledge:
Ability to read and understandblueprints.
Special Skills:
Ability to work with small precisionparts.
Other:
Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailedinstructions.
