Job Description:

As a weaver you will be responsible for operating and monitoring looms for production of woven fabric with a goal of zero defects and maximum machine output. Job Duties:

Operate and monitor looms designated to you and inspect fabric for any defects based upon predetermined intervals Operate and keep back-up bobbins for each machine Maintain fill yarn Monitor yarn for tight/loose ends Monitor fabric for defects and mend or remove defects if possible Flag and report and repeated quality issues immediately Troubleshoot any technical problems Understand fabric structure, color and pattern Understand health and safety procedures Repair all warp stops and filling stops and restart machine Will be required to work and train in other departments as business dictates May be required to work overtime (no Sundays) Any other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED preferred Ability to see colors

Physical Requirements:

Needs to have full use of both hands including the wrists. No restrictions with the back, legs or feet. Requires the ability to walk and stand on concrete, stretching, bending down for a 10 hour shift. Will handle yarn packages weighing between 4 and 11 lbs. There are general housekeeping duties to keep the manufacturing area clean. Tying associates are required to wear steel or composite toes shoes or boots. Sattler Corp. is an EEO Employer.
