The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately cutting fabric and materials according to specifications for upholstery. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently with various cutting tools and machinery. The Cutter will play a vital role in ensuring that all pieces are prepared for the next stages of production, contributing to the overall quality of our products. Responsibilities Operate cutting machines and tools to cut fabric and materials as per design specifications. Draft patterns and layouts for cutting, ensuring optimal use of materials. Fabricate components required for upholstery, adhering to quality standards. Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely completion of cutting tasks. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained. Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines and cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials. Experience Proven experience in upholstery cutting or related fields is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues. Proficiency in using sewing machines and other fabric cutting tools. Familiarity with machining processes is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
