Job Description
Laser Operator 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars Shelby, NC 28150 Monday-Friday 6:30am
- 5:00pm ( 4 days / 10 hours)
Pay Rate:
$20
- $21 per hour depending on experience
Duties:
- Operate laser cutting machines to fabricate sheet metal parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the correct dimensions and tolerances for each part
- Use cranes and other equipment to load and unload materials onto the laser cutting machine
- Utilize hand tools, such as micrometers and calipers, to measure and inspect parts for accuracy
- Assemble finished parts as required
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure that parts meet the required standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating laser cutting machines is preferred, but not required
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Familiarity with using cranes and other equipment for material handling
- Knowledge of hand tools, such as micrometers and calipers, for precision measuring
- Attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections on finished parts
