WESTAFF IS ACTIVELY RECRUITING FOR A BOBST-FOLDER-GLUER OPERATOR IN THE DURHAM AREA

$24/$27 per hour depending on experience.

Hours:

3rd shift Monday-Thursday 7pm-5:30am.

PRESS ASSISTANT DUTIES

Running any gluer safely, producing confirming cartoons at high rate of speed to achieve the production standards with minimal waste.
Complete all hourly checks and maintain quality consistent with cGMP practices and specifications.
Complete all productions and process control documentation.
Set up, adjust and operate a variety of auxiliary binding machines.
Inspect equipment for safety issues.
Operate automatic adhesive binding machines (Perfect Binders) that contain numerous interrelated process stations that are fed collated sheets or signatures and preform such functions as vibrating, milling, roughening, gluing, covering and delivering or stackpleted books, magazines or catalogs.
Monitor quality, output and productivity.
Oral and writtenmunication skills a must.
Keep work area clean and picked up.
Handling large amounts of paper and paper rolls, load on machines.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Warehouse experience-building pallets, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in a ing environment a must
Some experience in the operations of various hand tools preferred.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
